Some Typical Photo Shoot Locations

Here are a few locations that we like to shoot. Where we shoot is completely up to you, we will provide feedback on a location if you'd like but we want you to take an active part and determining the outcome of your photos. These locations are good for engagement photos, wedding photos, family photos, kid photos, or any other photo shoot.

Senior Photos

Ashley and I will not be shooting any senior photos in 2012. We need some time with our new little guy. Check back in 2013.

What are senior photos with us like? Most important question, right? We operate on one important rule. Rule #1: You are not fake, so we won't make you look it. We love to have fun on senior photo sessions. We end up in all sorts of grungy, urban, and "off the beaten path" locations and it is always fun. We go wherever you want to be, they are your senior photos so shouldn't you get to choose. Our senior photos should be as unique as you are.

Package includes the photo shoot(sitting fee), all retouch, and prints. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Baby's First Year

Maternity Sessions

Our maternity sessions have no session fee. The costs associated with the shoot are for digital negatives and/or prints. A Maternity Shoot can also be added to the Rock-a-Bye Baby package which will include the digital negatives. Ashley shoots all of our maternity photos. She loves to shoot them outside, but studio is an option as well. See our recent maternity sessions here.

Hush Little Baby - $1000

  • $250 towards a photobook at the end of the 12 months

A Few Tips:
  • Should be scheduled in the first 2 weeks after the baby is born
  • Best to photograph in diaper or blanket
  • Parents should wear either black or white long sleeve shirt
  • Things to have with you: blanket(special meaning), stuffed animal, newborn hat, etc.
  • Photo shoots in the home work well to capture baby sleeping

Our normal sessions have no session fee. You can just pay for digital negatives or prints that you'd like. This includes maternity or newborn (that are not part of a package), kids, family photos, and other shoots on a case by case basis. Please Contact us if you have any questions.

Coffee Table Photo Books

Our coffee table books feature hinged pages to display your photos without breaks in pages. This new hinged page feature is one of the hottest crazes among photo books. We are excited to be offering it to all of our customers. All coffee table books also include the protective UV coating. About Us

We like to tell people all the time that the experience is more important than the photo. A great photo of a bad experience will bring up bad emotions. A mediocre photo of a great experience will still elicit a good reaction. We don't compromise our photos or say we take bad ones, they speak for themselves, but we want you to have a great time on any shoot we do. It's hard to put our personalities into words. We are unique. As unique as you are.

Wedding Photo Station




Photo Stations

What is the photo station? Only the coolest thing you could do for your wedding reception. What better way for your guest to express themselves on your big day and let you know how they really feel about you. The photo stations are a ton of fun. Your guest control the photos they take with a remote control and can instantly see the results on a TV. No prints are done on site, but you receive a disc with all images from the photo station on it.

A photo station can be added to any wedding package. Pricing is as follows:

Boudoir Shoots


Boudoir Shoot Details - $500
What's included
Approximately 2 hours of shooting time
All images are hand retouched by Ashley
All images on DVD or CD with copyright release
Online password protected gallery


Boudoir shoots are typically done by a bride for her groom. However boudoir shoots make great Valentine's Day, anniversary, birthday, or Christmas gifts for your significant other. Our boudoir shoots are done in studio or on location in your home or in a hotel(additional cost.) Boudoir shoots take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours and are shot to meet each individuals own style and creativity. The shoot can take a classic pin-up style or a more modern and romantic style. We will discuss the options and go over them with you before the shoot. We have examples available, just contact us for more info.

Below are some tips to help you prepare for the shoot....

Hair and Make-up...

We recommend seeing a professional hair-stylist and make-up artist. However, doing your own hair and make-up is encouraged as well. Most make-up should be a shade darker to help create a bold look in the photos. Wearing your hair down is preferred, but if you would like to do some with your hair both up and down, we can do that as well.

 Tips for that Day...
  • If you feel that you may be nervous before the shoot please bring a friend. This usually helps you relax.
  • The photo shoots are very relaxed and interactive. We will be feeding off of each other's ideas and turning out great pictures. So be sure to bring your ideas.
  • A little something to drink....might help you relax as well.
  • In case you haven't noticed, being relaxed is the most important thing. We will do everything we can to get you relaxed.
    If we can't get you to let go we will only end up with stiff "posed" pictures. Those aren't the best.

Trash the Dress/Day After Session Details

 Trash the Dress or Day After sessions are some of the most fun that we have. We get to push our creativity the farthest and shoot without restriction. We love to go to locations that have meaning to you or that you've always wanted to take photos at. If you don't have any, we can freestyle...we drive around and find places. Day after sessions aren't actually the day after, they can be any day you want. Some people aren't interested in doing them until their one year anniversary. We are up for whatever you have in mind.

Engagement Session Details

 Our engagement sessions last 1 to 2 hours and are customized to fit each couple's personality. We prefer to shoot on location. Many times we shoot at parks or at a spot that has special meaning to you. We are always open to new locations!

Ashley and I are at our most creative during engagement sessions. We get to go out and just have fun. There are no limits on what we can or can't do and no time restrictions. Engagement sessions are $200. All engagement sessions include ownership of all pictures taken. You will receive high-res images on CD for your use with a print release form.

Availability Calendar

This is our general availability calendar. Ashley and I have 4 young boys so it can get crazy around here. We do not shoot before 5pm during the week except for newborns and other special circumstance shoots. We also take off every Wednesday, Friday, and most Sundays. We do shoot one Sunday per month and typically which Sunday is determined on a first come - first serve basis. Whom ever ask for a Sunday during that month first basically chooses the Sunday for us.

Ashley and I tend to be pretty flexible, but with the boys we have to have some limits. We will work with you to find a time that's best for your family and ours.

Wedding Packages

If you are interested in meeting give us a call or send an email. We will hold your day until we meet. Once we meet we will hold your day for 30 days from the meeting so you may meet with other photographers. We do this to ensure we never double book and so you may look around and find the best photographer for you. Double booking is inexcusable. If we ever double book, we will stop being photographers.

Rain On Your Wedding Day
Rain on your wedding day is said to be good luck. And we want you to have the best luck ever, but if rain doesn't allow us to get outside and take photos on your wedding day you will receive a Day After/Trash the Dress session with us. This is how important it to us for you to have great photos.
