When selecting a wedding photographer you really need to know who you will be spending the most important day of your life with.  When we sit down and meet with couples we get a good sense of who they are, but we really don't know if they get a good idea of what we are like.  Knowing your photographer as more than a business transaction is important.  Ashley and I want our Brides and Grooms to know us a little better.  Here are links to our personal facebook pages.  Please feel free to add us as friends if you'd like to get to know us.

Ashley and I have decided that going forward, and backward, we will giving all digital negatives to all of our wedding couples.  If you have already signed with us or if you sign with us in the future, all packages will include digital negatives.  If we shot your wedding previously you can obtain your digital negatives on DVD via email.  Just get in touch and let us know you want them and we will send them along.

Last Saturday I photographed 2009 senior Nicole.  Nicole was a lot of fun.  Some people you photograph are real naturals and others take some coaching.  Nicole was quite the natural, and had a great natural smile.  We headed outside and took some shots near the river downtown.  The wind was quite fierce and gave actual meaning to "my frozen moment."  Congratulations Nicole!

This past Saturday I photographed an engagement session for Brittany and Eric.  We went out to Valley Junction and wondered around snapping shots.  It was a little cold, but we made the best of it.  Although we took a break to warm up and let it get darker out, they hung in there and we got some great shots.  Below are a few of our favorites.

On November 29th Ashley and I photographed April and Adam's wedding in Granger, IA.  The weather was cool and it snowed for a good portion of the day.  The snow gave a great atmosphere for a wedding.  These two were great to work with.  Below are some of our favorite shots.  Congratulations April and Adam!

This past week, Ashley and I self photographed our family pictures.  While I thought it might be tough with both the boys it actually went really well.  They are learning quickly about cheesing for the camera.  Sometimes a little too much cheese.  Ashley custom created our Christmas card for this year.  It is below.  Happy Holidays to all!

Our Love for Weddings

We love shooting weddings. Each one is different but the emotions are the same. We have the best job in the world. Ashley and I find ourselves engulfed in the emotions you are feeling, with the emotions we felt the day we were married. These emotions are expressed in our photography. Your pictures will shine with the happiness you experience. We get to spend one of the most important days of your lives with you. We get to express each couple's love for each other with a different set of moments. Our goal is to help you relive the day for the rest of your life.

2009 is going to be a great year for weddings, we are excited and look forward to each and everyone!
