Today Ashley and I took pictures of Josh, Dawn, and Carsen. Carsen will be turning three real soon so we got some 3-year old shots in as well as some family photos at the Botanical Center. The Botanical Center was quite busy today but we were able to find some spots and get some shots. Below are a few of our favorites.
This past weekend Ashley photographed Makenzie and Melissa. We were scheduled to take Makenzie's mom's maternity photos last summer, but Makenzie decided to show up early. We got them in for some first photos and below are a few of our favorites. Congratulations to the new Mom and Dad!
Ashley photographed baby Jacob this past week. Jacob is 2 months old ready to take on the world. He was a great baby to work with and pretty excited about having his picture taken. Below are a few of our favorites.
Today Ashley, Brian, Kaylee, and myself spent the day in Oskaloosa, IA photographing the 2009 Center Stage Dance Invitational. We were scheduled to photograph the event last year as well, mother nature did not cooperate and dumped 6 inches of snow in Des Moines and even more in Oskaloosa. This year we had great weather and made the trip down. We were quite impressed with the level of competition. We took over 13,000 pictures. Of all those we took we selected the 11 that stood out to us the most. Below are our favorites. Congratulations to all competitors.
Tonight Ashley, the boys, and I got out and went to a local high school basketball game. A friend of the family plays basketball for Saydel High School and it was senior night. Dylan is a class of 2009 senior. The Eagles took on Perry tonight in a late season match. The game was close throughout and ended up in double overtime where the Eagles pulled out the victory. Congratulations Dylan and the Eagles.
Ashley photographed Ana Maria this week. You may also recognize her big brother Jose on the website from time to time. Ashley loves photographing babies and this was another great shoot.
This past weekend Ashley and I photographed Stephanie and Jasen's engagement photos. January doesn't lend itself to great outside shots and the unseasonable warm weather didn't help much either. Everything was melting and it was pretty messy. We took some shots at the botanical center and followed that up with some shots on the pedestrian bridge and at water works park. We had a great time and below are some of our favorites. Congratulations Stephanie and Jasen!
